Really good Turkish breakfast somewhat quirky however, we had come back from a hot air balloon flight so it was more like brunch.
If you want access to Pamukkale you can not be closer, we drove up from Marmaris so it was good to have free parking. We went arrived mid morning and got a taxi to the north entrance and walked through the ruins to get to the pools, returning by foot to the hotel. The centre of town is just round the corner, we ate at Kayas Wine Bar really good.
We had come to Pamukkale for the hot air balloons that collect from the hotel the main reason we picked this hotel.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, try to get a pool view room not a road view.

I first went to Pamukkale in 1990 and I can not remember having to pay to get in only having to pay to get into the Roman Baths, which you now pay extra to swim in. I also remember that you could pretty much go wherever you wanted, sitting in the pools.
Now it is £30 to get in and the water has been diverted away from the natural pools to help keep people away. The only pools you can access are man made on the slope from the entrance or exit to town.
We had however, came for the hot air balloons which were excellent and I highly recommend.

Pammukale is a must see.
Pammukale is a must see. One day and one night is just the right amount of time. The town is small but all the people were kind and helpful. I had a wonderful dinner on the front porch of Mom Eve Restaurant. Hilal, the owner, makes a great Cuba Libre.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough.
Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.
The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required.
The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring.
The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.
The best hotel I ever lived in during my whole trip in Turkey. It is definitely a great place for vacation. Don't let the picture fool you, the hotel is much better than what shows on the website.
The room is relatively large and well furnished with a small balcony. The food they offered is great. And even there's a small swimming pool here! But bear in mind the hotel is not located in a great place. you might have to depend on taxi and transportation that the hotel offered.
Everything was perfect! The decor in the room is simple, but everything looks dignified and clean. Each room has a balcony/terrace. Also in the bathroom there was a bath, which can be filled with thermal water. Quiet, calm hotel. Good breakfasts are served in the morning. A very nice man at the reception, who will give advices on places to visit. Free parking nearby. In 5 minutes there are many cafes, markets, shops. Karahait is a great village to live and visit.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, period. We travelled all around Turkey and stayed in four different hotels and this place exceeded all the others in every way. It was comfortable, quiet, and clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast in the garden was delicious (and I usually think free breakfast is overrated), and there wifi works well enough for some video calls we had to take for work reasons. I definitely, definitely recommend.
This place was better than most 5 star hotels I've stayed at in Turkey, most friendliest people at reception, the rooms were amazing and huge so was the balcony with a great view of the swimming pool! You could comfortably sit and relax and have so much empty space. The spring pools were only 5 mins walking distance.
You have access to shops, supermarket and restaurants!
Would definitely recommend this hotel for the price and value!
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We particularly liked the main receptionist who provided us with all the info we needed and arranged our transportation to Laodicea and Afrodisias. The restaurant nearby the pool was amazing with friendly waiters and great food. This was the most generous, delicious and healthy breakfast we had in Turkey. Fresh products, vegetables, fruit, sweets, coffee, tea, yogourt. Thank you!
Great pool. Excellent view of the Pamukkale Travertine Terraces from the 4th floor Breakfast Room; probably the best view. My room balcony also had a full and excellent view of the travertine terraces. Cold water was provided in our room. The bed was comfortable. Located just across the street from everything. We parked our car near the hotel and everything was a short walk away.
-super friendly family run business
-the breakfast was probably the best we have had in Turkey so far; homemade with love and care. Especially, their menemen was so good.
-Pool was being cleaned when we arrived; they take care of the facilities and it really shows
-thermal pool was relaxing and fun to try
-they were understanding and let us check out later than usual
Family owned hotel. Breakfast was great, home made meals cooked by grandma :) We also had dinner in the hotel, affordable prices and very tasty meals. The location is great, very close to the entrances to Pamukkale travertine pools
Friendly staff. They helped to arrange hot air balloon and to answer our questions about Turkey, culture, what to do, where to go, etc
This hotel was old and our least favorite hotel during our trip. The room was okay but musty and old. The spa wasn’t very nice and they charged me extra for a head band that I didn’t even want. The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s located very closely to the Pamukkale thermal pools. Thankfully we only stayed one night here.
The receptionist was humble and provide me very useful insights how to make most of it. Assisted me iwth booking my last minute adventure activities at decent price. Hot air balloon ride and Pamukkale tour is very nearby from this hotel. You get amazing view of the hot air balloon while eating breakfast.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Pamukkale. Senol and the rest of the staff truly go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or with family, Venus Suite Hotel is the perfect place to stay.
It's difficult to find nice facilities in Pamukkale. Hotel Colossae Thermal is a good solution if you're planning to stay one night. The room was clean and the staff was accommodating. The location is nothing special, a bit retrò in style.
Quiet place, host is very very kind, friendly and helpful. We recommend White House restaurant, food much better than 5 star all inclusive hotel. Also 10% discount for the guests that are staying at this hotel.
Very good location. Very friendly and warm staff.. Nice interiors with a touch of English influence. The Turkish breakfast and dinner were the best we had during our round trip in turkey.. Very hospitable!
Everything, from the hotel location to cleanliness and especially the staff... the nicest most hospitable hosts you will find in all of turkey... it felt like home... Best place to stay in pamukkale ...
The bus stop is near the hotel and when you take a tour of pamukkale it's just walking distance by foot.
The staff are kind and the room is big and comfotable and you could go thourgh minenal water sho
Perfect location right in front of the thermal pools and the food was excellent…my family and I stay there 2 nights and ate onsite every day. Best Saç and Baklava I ate in my 2-week trip in Turkey.
The breakfast is amasing, the hotel is a bit oldfashioned. We enjoyed the thermal water in the room. The garden with the pools is also relaxing, the place is quite close to Pamukkale.
