With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.

Lovely city to have city break plenty to do and plenty of different places to eat great value for money ,Prosecco boat trip recommended great service with so many bottles offered on unlimited trip , great central market great to have a few hours at , funicular up to Buda castle and castle bus fun to go around on , Margaret island a lovely place we hired a mini model car for 6 for an hour to go round on great fun really inexpensive had a lovely meal and also an open air theatre there lots of monuments , fountains just lovely . Plenty of shops eateries /places to have cocktail and Hungarian beer very nice and very cheap bolt taxi service if needed is great and you get price on app before booking and can pay cash or card at great rates .ChristineUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Is is a beautiful city. Great restaurants, easy to use public transport. Affordable and safe! I loved the castle tours. I ate at Mazel Tov, amazing mediterranean/israeli food, 100% recommend a lunch here, the vibe of the greenhouse/ upscale ruin-bar was beautifully unique. Nothing I would avoid in Budapest. Just make sure to plan your trip in advance and book things to do online. Was in a long que at the Thermal bath I visited. But all in all, an amazing adventure!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Great city. Very clean, well maintained, friendly people, friendly drivers and staff, good prices, lots of places to visit and great food. We visited Budapest 3 years after I proposed to my wife spontaneous on the Chain Bridge. Definitely would like to visit again

Best things we visited - English bookshop with friendly owner on Castle Hill, National Museum and National Art Gallery, Geller Thermal Baths, Great Synagogue, Miksa Roth Stained Glass museum, György Ráth Villa. Just in the city centre and extremely close to some of the best touristic places (5 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Basilica, Shopping Centers and the river). Their stuff was extremely nice and polite, always willing to help and answer any enquiries. The apartments were great. Spacious, extremely clean, good WiFi, compromised with fully functional kitchen and large dinning area. Our kids really loved the living area where they spent a lot of time playing around.

Breakfast was really good and diverse. The bathroom is quite small, but it is a boat after all, so that was not a big issue. The room was very clean and the staff always friendly, polite and helpful. Parking is available close by, so the hotel is a great option if you want to avoid the crowded areas in the center where access by car is limited, but still feel an authentic Budapest atmosphere.

The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful. It is very near to a local Metro (underground) station which is brilliant for exploring either the Buda or the Pest side. The bedroom was surprisingly quiet for a city centre location. Highly recommended!

There is an underground parking lot of the Arena Sports Center behind the hotel. Room was fine, clean and comfortable, it was good value for money if you exclude poor wi-fi.
