This was an overnight stay and a lovely surprise. Such a warm welcome from Sandra. Great accomodation. Beautiful scenery. Lovely dinner with views and awesome breakfast selection. Enjoyed our chats and OMG that dessert. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore the many places in the area. Incredible place to stay. Impeccable, beautiful house throughout. We stayed in a lovely, large cave room with a great bathroom and shower design. The food from dinner and breakfast was excellent, thoughtfully presented, plentiful and homemade cooking using local ingredients. The hosts were fantastic and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the place and looking at the restoration project book. Very talented couple and we feel fortunate to have found this place to stay.

Fabulous location, and characterful building, which hasn't lost its charm when it has incorporated modern facilities. It requires a long drive to reach by car, but we had included it in a bike tour as the finale of our route, and it didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good quality, and the half board package was really good value. Beautiful mountain and forest surroundings, and if you wanted to take advantage of the walking, each room was provided with traditional walking sticks to use.
