What tips the scale for me usually when I stay in a hotel or resort is the service. Very professional, polite and friendly. I was allowed to check in a few hours early (no extra charge) and even though I (unintentionally) checked out almost an hour late, they remained friendly and smiling. The cabins are amazing, a lot of privacy despite them being nearby each other, heated floors, and of course the glass roof. I was so satisfied with everything. Food was great, got to try so many local dishes and there were so many options with balance of nutrition. Nothing bad to say.

The appartment was spacious, with new equipments and furniture. It was clean and nice. Beds are comfortable. Hiking trails are closeby. The sauna was great. Washing machine and diswasher were great extra. We had everything and more! Great place for two, or even for a family up to 3 children.

The location was very quiet and the cabin itself is very nice with all the required amenities provided. Henry the host was very welcoming and friendly. We did a fire in the outdoor open hut and grilled some sausage and marshmallows, a great Finnish experience!

A Magical Stay in Lapland Our stay at this cozy one-bedroom chalet was unforgettable! Surrounded by snowy forests and offering stunning views of the northern lights, it was the perfect winter escape. The chalet was well-equipped with a crackling fireplace and an excellent sauna. The staff went above and beyond, and the traditional Finnish wood-smoked sauna with the invigorating outdoor cold plunge was a true highlight. We even spotted reindeer wandering near the cottage, adding to the magic! The staff were warm and helpful, offering great tips for local activities. A big thank you to the staff at smoke sauna for motivating me to jump into the cold plunge pool :). If you’re looking for a peaceful and authentic Lapland retreat, this is the place to stay.

The apartment was small, but just big enough for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). It was clean, comfortable, and a good temperature. We paid extra for the linen which wasn't put on the beds, so we had to make the beds which was a bit annoying when we were tired. It also made the stay more expensive when we paid extra for the baby linen and cot. Very handy drying cupboard, and great to have a washing machine, but no clothes detergent, which would have been useful. The directions to the apartment were a bit confusing, the pub on the corner isn't an Irish pub any more. The location was very good for getting the bus to the ski slopes, and taking walks to the grocery store and restaurants.

Lovely apartment on the hill above Saariselka. It had a lovely, charming atmosphere and provided plenty of space for a family of 4 with two teenagers. All the required facilities were available. It is about a 20 minute walk into town - which we quite enjoyed (even in -28 degrees). The sledges at the property are helpful to use after a trip to the supermarket for helping with the shopping.
