It was a delight to stay at The Angel! From the moment we arrived we were looked after so well by all the fabulous staff at all times of day and night. I can’t thank the kind man who helped us out in the courtyard at three o’clock in the morning and brought delicious tea and a cappuccino covered in salted caramel chocolate! Every part of the hotel is a magical blend of glorious architecture that has been there for hundreds of years and modern luxury. My room was the best! I wish I could have brought it home. With the exceptional en-suite. My bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was perfect! Every need was catered for to ensure the most delightful stay. The Angel Hotel is in the heart of Abergavenny, allowing such easy access to anywhere in the town. It was the best holiday in a place that I love. Staying in the Hotel made absolutely perfect.

Great staff, Carly was lovely & had good knowledge of the location and where to visit, checked in early which was no problem, all great.

In Crickhowell, in the Brecon Beacons, The Bear dates back to 1432. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, old world charm and good food. Awarded Inn of the Year 2010 by the Good Pub Guide.

Outstanding restaurant; lamb cooked to perfection, good selection of wines, attentive staff. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, parking facilities are adequate. Hotel staff is friendly and competent.

Fabulous choice for a stop over en route to Coventry. Good location, super friendly helpful staff, large dining room and a big beer garden on a rare sunny day. We highly recommend and wish the owner all the best on this new venture.

The hotel was quaint and beautiful and were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. unfortunately, as it was Sunday night dinner wasn't available, but from reports we believe it is extra special

In the centre of Raglan Village, this 16th-century inn is close to the medieval castle, between Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny. It is a 15 minute drive from the M4 and well placed for the A40.
