The location was amazing. I’d walked by this cottage and the Hideaway many times but going inside was something else . Just gorgeous. Aisling left some groceries - fresh country eggs, juice, tea/coffee, milk, bread, biscuits … all of the essentials to get started. Absolutely loved it and showed it off to all who would come and look in the door!

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than a five-minute drive from the town centre.

I booked the Cavan crystal hotel for a hen night in September. I have to say this was the nicest hotel stay I have ever had. The friendliest and most helpful team they really made our stay there exceptional. They even had the hens name on the dinner menu. Thanks so much for a fabulous stay Irene & team. First class accommodation, very comfortable room and bed. Use of lovely communal lounge with tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast served in lovely dining room with delicious breakfast options. Great location within a few minutes drive to local restaurants/pubs and sightseeing at the local villages of Belturbet and Ballyconnell.

Excellent stay. Lovely hosts. Fantastic location - central for everything, fishing, walking, etc. The village centre is only a short walk away (15mins) which has everything you'd need. Apartment was safe, secure and fully equipped. Highly recommend.

Everything. Angela greeted us with such a lovely warm welcome along with her two lovely and very well-behaved furby's. The location was ideal as we attended a wedding in the Crover House Hotel, which was just a 13 min drive, so perfect place to stay. The room was stunning, had everything you needed, a beautiful big and comfortable bed. The bathroom was beautiful with a lovely shower and a separate bath. The breakfast was delicious 😋, and Angela's husband prepared and serviced a beautiful, full Irish breakfast with a lot of delicious local produce. There were lots of cereal options and fresh fruit too. Would highly recommend Nellie's Cottage for your stay. Thank you both very much for a lovely stay.
