One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect and I can't think of one thing that we would have changed. The service from the staff was definitely the highlight, but the food, the room and the onsen were outstanding. It's a short busride to Kamikochi bridge where the hiking is beautiful.

Hotel Tamanoyu features spacious public hot spring baths, as well as private ones. For further relaxation, it offers massages, Japanese cuisine and small classical concerts.

Onsen was fantastic! very nice and clean. They took care of the luggage and the car. A free soft drinks was available. The room was nice and spacious. Everything was just perfect.

Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent location just a few minutes to the train station with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Many amenities included (such as slippers and pajamas). Excellent buffet for breakfast including salad, soup, yogurt, cereal, fish, meat, vegetables, and much more.

Location is within walking distance to Matsumoto castle and 20m walk from the station. Rooms are clean, well lit and felt luxurious to me with dimmable lights and a big TV. Had a really comfortable stay and staff were good, let me leave my bag the next day and provide nice toiletries.
