The owner was very friendly. He was very flexible as I arrived at 10pm. He had some helpful recommendations regarding the climb to Adam's Peak. The start of the hike is just a couple of meters away. The room was comfortable. Enjoyed my stay very much!

The headline is - if you book to stay here you won’t regret it. This is the only 10/10 review I’ve ever given. This place is for you if you like…beautiful views, great food, comfortable beds, interesting activities, relaxing by the pool, excellent massages. The staff are the warmest and most helpful people who genuinely take pride in their work and support each other. Special mention to Rushanthi, Nadan, Shiva and Janarthan but all the staff are helpful, nothing is too much trouble, including helping us find the best dosa we’ve ever had in the local town of Hatton. Highly recommend the tea tour, we learnt so much, and the local self-guided walk.

Amazing remote location surrounded by tea plantations and a lake, what a wonderful view to wake up to! Room was very luxurious and furnished to a high standard. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool. Staff were outstanding and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They even provided us with transport for our Adam’s Peak sunrise summit. You have to stay here!

My partner and I stayed at Forest Shade Eco Resort earlier this month and we had a wonderful experience. We came cycling from Colombo and unfortunately had a small accident on the way. We called the hotel and they arranged a vehicle that picked us up straight from the hospital, everything went super smoothly and it was absolutely sweet how everyone was so concerned about us (we are fine now). This place is definetely the right spot when you need to recover from a bicycle accident or life in gereral. Our room and the attached balcony overlooked the river and we had a fantastic view! The food was lovely as well, we got the Sri Lankan option for dinner and breakfast and loved it. This place is a 100 percent recommendation and we will definetely come again on our bikes to explore the beautiful area a bit more.

This was a really amazing place to be, very clean, very confortable and honestly all the familly are really beautiful persons, polite and humble hosts, they bring me to see around by car and motorbike, was gorgeous!! Before we even arrived they were very communicative. We ending up arriving late and they sent someone to meet us on the main road to guide us in. They made us a delicious dinner and even went to get us some beers after our long drive. At every opportunity they could not do enough for us. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning in the rainforest. Very peaceful, clean and a crystal clear waterfall to swim in. They arranged us the white water rafting which was also great. I couldn’t recommend more!

Its one of the best places i stayes in sri lanka . Too quiet . Comfortable . And the staff were amazing and patient . Helpful . I forget to ask their names but i remember mohamed was amazing with everything . The driver he picked me up from the town and droped me off while waiting me to make sure everything was good . The hotel in middle of nature . But had everything needed . Restaurant is very good . Wifi signal very good all around the hotel . They alao arrange adventure tours which are famous in kitulgala .
