The water slide, pools. and diving area were incredible. Food was excellent with good options. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the location nestled away in nature. Grounds are stunning. And of course the "standard king room" is a full size suite / 1 bedroom apt!

We spent one night here on our way to Costa Rica. We didn’t like the vibe at all. Bit of a hostile welcome, dirty pillows and too many stray dogs following us. Dog mess everywhere. Had a balcony which was a bonus.

Very quiet location. Comfortable, clean room. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and busses to all ends of the country. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Great little comedor on site for a good value, tasty breakfast.

Maria doesn't really speak english, but she definitely trys hard to make you feel comfortable! Also, the food is really good, you have to try the filete del pescado & banano con leche! We did not meet too many other backpackers in the 4 nights we stayed but nevertheless worth a visit.
