Valter & Drita's Guesthouse se encuentra en Theth, a 5,9 km de Parque nacional de Thethi, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. We had a fantastic time at Valter & Dritas and found it to be great value! It is located in the hills, just above Theth and provides stunning views of the valley. A peaceful and tranquil environment to relax in. The guesthouse is run by the family, who are excellent hosts and very genuine lovely people. They provided breakfast and dinner throughout our time there, which was home cooked and delicious. There was a good range of food available and we enjoyed slowly exploring the menu during our time there. We had 3 full days in Theth, during which we hiked the Valbona Pass, Blue Eye Kaprre and Grunas waterfall. Valbona Pass, is a tough but stunning walk which is well worth the effort. The Blue Eye was excellent too, the water was crisp and refreshing, the perfect respite from the Albanian heat. This walk is deceptively challenging and we’d recommend getting a taxi to the drop off location. Grunas waterfall was a fun hike and slightly less demanding after the other hikes. They have fresh spring water at the guesthouse which is safe to drink, so no need to bring bottled water with you. There are cute dogs, cats and chickens around the residence. If you like to sleep in, I’d bring ear plugs as the cockerels do their thing in the mornings. Overall, we had a great time. Whether you are looking for exciting and challenging hikes around the Albanian Alps or just want to unwind and relax in the hills.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. On the first night we were late for dinner and they were happy to prepare some food for us, we were very grateful.Went on the horses. If they see that you are not confident then they will allow you to ride in the ring They were very flexible. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were not super hard which was good. Shkoder city centre was a 10 minute drive. Advice would be to have a car. Can find restaurants and shops there.

Warm welcome from hosts, perfect location at the end of the village and close to hiking trails and Thethi Waterfall. Optionally you can have breakfasts and dinner over there, it is recommended, food is home cooked, fresh, so tasty. The village itself is quiet and actively developing with many new guesthouses. We hiked one day 17.5 kms and came home happy from this fantastic nature. We had a very good sleep in this guesthouse, it felt like you visit your family. We regret that we booked just two nights, we would definitely stay a couple of days longer. Thank you!
