The view is spectacular, the area is so beautiful. The house looks incredible, we even received an upgrade to the upstairs apartment for free. Sauna is nice as well

Vivea Hotel Bad Goisern has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bad Goisern. My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Vivea Hotel, where the friendly staff made us feel at home from day one. Surrounded by beautiful nature with hiking trails starting right by the hotel, it’s perfect for relaxation, and the wellness area exceeded our expectations. The highlight was definitely the pool with its ideal temperature.

We really enjoyed our stay in Apartment Brigitte, excellent kitchen facilities and very comfortable. We were on the ground floor so had use of courtyard with a great view of the surrounding mountains, often had our meals outside. It is an easy walk to the railway station, and start of walks and edge of Hallstätter See (walk to Dachstein Krippenstein cable car is bit longer, about 35 min). We found it an excellent base to explore this area. Tip, take the electric boat to Hallstatt and on your return to "peaceful" Obertraun have a drink overlooking the lake at the cafe on the waters edge.
