This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

The location was very central to town. The staff were very helpful and were willing to answer questions. Bonus: A pass to ride the tram for free and enter musuems for half-price. The breakfasts at the hotel were exceptional!

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel is located in Basel, 200 metres from Kunstmuseum Basel. Het hotel heeft onze verwachtingen ruimschoots overtroffen. Aan werkelijk elk detail lijkt te zijn gedacht bij de inrichting. Deze oogt simpel, maar het Nomad hotel is overal heel sfeervol. Er is veel gebruik gemaakt van hout en typisch Zwitserse design. Een combinatie van een modern hotel met de typische Zwitserse gezelligheid van een houten chalet. Hierdoor voelt elke ruimte aan als thuiskomen. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en het hotel verrast met allerlei comfortabele extra's. Zoals kosteloos gebruik maken van fietsen, gym, sauna, een prettige werkplek / bibliotheek en op elke verdieping staan de hele dag door included Negroni cocktails, vers fruit en bruis/plat water voor je klaar. De Nomad eatery is een prettig restaurant met een leuke gevarieerde menukaart en fijn personeel. Het ontbijt is voortreffelijk. Hier is het ook 's avonds leuk zitten met openslaande ramen naar het terras en een goede bar. Al met al zullen we hier zeker nog eens terugkomen als we in Bazel zijn.

Berghof Erlebnis AG is gelegen in Pfaffnau, op 47 km van Romeinse stad Augusta Raurica, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Room was big, comfortable and had two windows overlooking lovely countryside. Brigitte was welcoming and helpful. We could use the coffee machine in the kitchen and place our motorcycle in the shed.
