A truly wonderful person who deserves recognition for her work. The hotel facilities were excellent. The room was lovely and warm, with very comfortable beds. We had requested a quiet room and Maria met that request. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice, delicious scrambled eggs and lemon meringue pie.

The property is a real gem. Location is fantastic. The property itself is outstanding and the rooms are fantastic and the value is unbeatable. Ernesto was a big help as were all his staff in the kitchen, all very tentative in every respect of food and helping out anyway they could highly recommend to stay here if you get a chance.

Facing the beachfront, Tawa Refugio del Puelo offers 5-star accommodation in Puelo and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. Everything was great! The location with river and mountain views is amazing. You have the most amazing view from your bed. The beds are comfortable, the room is beautifully designed, the bathroom is great. They have thought about many details that make the experience better. The hot tubs in the forest looking out onto the river were fun. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is delicious. It’s not too big so it’s quiet and it doesn’t feel crowded or busy - a perfect place to relax. It was worth the drive and we were very pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful and peaceful place in nature. We highly recommend it and we would go again and again.
