She answered all of our questions and gave us great recommendations. The breakfast was exceptional and diverse. We loved everything.

We had an awesome stay at Maki - the room was very clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the location was brilliant. The stand out for us was the exceptional reception staff who went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. They helped us book tours, provided great recommendations and were very flexible and accommodating. If you are paying at the property, you will need to pay by credit card or cash (debit card incurs a substantial fee), so we had to get out cash (pesos) and then convert it to USD at a local currency exchange kiosk. Was easy enough to do but was unexpected. Would highly recommend Maki! We loved our time in Pucon.

Your host is a good man and wants to please you. He is good to talk to and provided some great advice on roads to take. Motorcycle parking is secure, behind a locked gate. Not covered but that's not a problem for us. The location is very quiet, enjoying the sound of the birds, but it's just a 5 minutes walk in to town.

Don’t usually give Booking.com ‘straight ‘10’s’, but our host’s’ hospitality insured that my husband and I felt truly cosseted while enjoying this a-bit-above-our-average $$$ boutique hotel. Loved our deck, spacious room, ‘catered’ complete breakfast.

A significant breakfast: scrambled eggs by default ... fried eggs by request...at least in my experience. Fridge and dining area that is independent of the breakfast area. Guests are welcome to use the fridge and the sink and the microwave.

The room amenities are superb, fireplace in the evenings, wonderful park around the hotel. This was one of the best hotel experiences in years. Pucón is a five-minute drive away.

Great hostel!!! the location is amazing, in the heart of Pucon, right next to the lake, could't have been better!! The staff is friendly and the place was super clean and cozy. Highly recommended!!! Located in Pucón, 12 km from Ojos del Caburgua Waterfall, Rakau Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The property is beautiful, and the room that we had was very nice. It is an oasis just outside of Pucon. The parks are not far and the city is closeby. There is an amazing access to the river at the back of the property with a couple of beaches to relax and watch the rafting tours passing by. The property is highly recommended.
