Also, when the front desk knew that I was looking for a taxi to the bus station, they were helpful in pairing me up with others also going where I was ultimately going, which helped me avoid the bus altogether, AND to share the cost of the ride with the others! Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa 59 - Guest House is a recently renovated homestay located in Bucaramanga, 5.4 km from Acualago Water Park. Loved the huge bed, tv, hot shower and general lovely decor. A well put together and very clean place also with excellent communication from the host, who also sent a useful guide for exploring Bucaramanga. Great stay.

This family run hotel has lovely friendly and helpful Spanish speaking staff, clean, comfortable & spacious rooms, very functional, stylish and spacious common areas. Enjoyed the firepit. Especially loved cooking in the large shared kitchen that was well equipped. Easy to communicate with before arrival and during the stay when out with WhatsApp. Staff accommodated for and assisted in organising birthday celebrations. Location is 8 minutes from the main road so was very peaceful with great views across the hills and cool breezes.
