Situated within 16 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 15 km of Kalambu Hot Springs, Home La Fortuna offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fortuna. The host was very helpful, the house was clean and tidy, perfect for a stay near the Arenal volcano. He gave us very good recommendations for restaurants, activities and helped us to organise entrance tickets. All in all, we are very happy to have stayed here, I can only recommend it to everyone.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Granja Agua Azul, Wi-FI, AC-WC,Parking,la Fortuna is located in Fortuna. Some places get an 11/10. This is an authentic Costa Rica experience, away from the mass tourism of La Fortuna but also close enough to get there in a few minutes (by car) or even walk. The cabin is spotless, cold AC, warm water and good WiFi. Carlos and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts. You're staying in a working farm, so you can milk cows (and drink fresh milk) and see some wild animals up close, including sloth, monkey and toucans. As others mention the hummingbirds like to congregate in the garden. There is a little country store nearby with a few essentials, and the community is real and safe. Nice country walks.

Very comfortable for our small family. The property was beautiful and the hosts were so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious.

Amazing location and facilities. It felt like we were in a tropical paradise. The tents were large, spacious, clean and comfortable, surrounded by lush vegetation. The ladies at reception were so friendly and helpful. They organised all of our tours and called a taxi when we needed one. The facilities around the property were spectacular, and we loved getting to swim in the pool at night. It felt magical. It was quite overcast while we were there, so we didn’t have the view of the volcano, but that didn’t detract from the amazing environment at all. Great variety for breakfast. Close to many restaurants and the town centre. Highly recommend!

Boasting a garden and views of quiet street, Cabañas Montañas del Tenorio is a recently renovated villa situated in San Rafael, 46 km from Venado Caves. The cabin was perfect and in beautiful gardens, so many hummingbirds! The photos do not do it justice! Delicious breakfast. Iliana was very helpful. She walked us down to the river, pointing out the resident Sloth. She even got into the river to show us how deep it was before our children got in. A stunning location for a cooling swim.
