I was in one of the newer buildings behind the main building/restaurant. It appeared nearly brand new and the room was nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating when I made several special requests. The mattress in the bedroom was new and felt like memory foam even though I don't think it was. The breakfast was above average for a guest house like this. I highly recommend this location for the service, the facilities and overall experience.

Located in the old city of Goslar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Harz Mountains, this accommodation offers modern guest apartments, an outdoor terrace and traditional cuisine. The location was right near the heart of the old town, the breakfast was amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable, and was able to be electronically adjusted. The room was very attractive with lots of thoughtful amenities such as a shoe-horn, fruit in the room and chocolates on the pillows. The room also had a small kitchenette which I did not use but might be helpful for some.

This is our favorite hotel in Goslar. We have stayed there multiple times now. It is located within walking distance to the old town. The building is a historic building and the inside has been beautifully updated. It is very quiet. The breakfast buffet is wonderful.

Hotel Wieting has a long history in Oldenburg as advertised by the lovely antiques scattered throughout the floors in a tasteful way. At the same time it’s up to date with modern facilities and rooms that even boast individually adjustable beds. The cozy breakfast room, delicious breakfast and excellent service were the perfect start to my day.
