Cahkal Hotel bevindt zich in Kilpisjärvi, en is voorzien van een terras, een bar en een skiën tot aan de deur. We stayed a night here, to break the long road journey from Levi to Tromso and ended up seeing the Northern lights similar to what is in their profile picture, right from the hotel! The staff were so awesome that they felt like family. The rooms were very comfortable and ours was at the end of the corridor with a big window overlooking a snow clad hill. There is a warm seating area next to the reception, with a real fire place, giving it a great vibe. A lot of activities (as much as you can expect from a 150- person tiny village) on offer around the place, which also is the NW most point of Finland and right next to the borders with Sweden and Norway too. There is a bus change at Kilpisjarvi when going to Tromso or the other way round, and the bus stops right at the hotel. Overall we couldn't find a single negative to list out. Special mention to Niila and Sari - thank you from our hearts. The spruce ice cream dessert at dinner remains the best dessert we have had traveling across EU, in the past two weeks!

Deze accommodatie met glazen iglo's in Kilpisjärvi ligt naast de Vasara Reindeer Ranch, naast de wildernis Kilpisjärvi. My wife and I spent 2 nights in the igloos and wished we had more time. We have food allergies and we're expecting to not have much to eat. But our host prepared the most amazing meals for us! The food was great!. The reindeer were everywhere and we also saw the northern lights. We had an amazing time! Thanks!!

Arctic Lodge Hetan Kota ligt op 3 km van het skigebied Hetan en biedt uitzicht op het meer van Ounasjärvi. The cottage is located next to the lake. It's such a beautiful and calm area. Me and my children liked this place so much. Unfortunately, we stayed here for 1 night only, however ...we will definitely come back for more nights in the future. The cottage was nice, we had everything what we needed for our stay. Staff was waiting for us at the time of arrival. It's a perfect place to observe Aurora. I would recommend this place
