Location is great and it was really comfortable for a family of five. We were really lucky and saw the northern lights in santa claus village but when we got back to the chalet we were treated to an amazing northern lights show! The kids loved sledging around the chalet. There is a really nice restaurant within a short walk and we ate there both nights. Can't wait to return.

The award-winning Restaurant Aanaar is located in Wilderness Hotel Juutua.... Everything was above our expectations! Lovely spacious room. Nice with airconditioner. Quiet area. Wonderful restaurant for a romantic dinner. And fantastic breakfast with local food ( juice, jam, bread, fish). Loved everything there!

See the soft and warm-tone sunlight during prolonged golden hour. The staff service is friendly and top notch service. We had a morning flight to catch and they delivered packed breakfast the night before - always looking after our wellbeing.

We stayed a night here, to break the long road journey from Levi to Tromso and ended up seeing the Northern lights similar to what is in their profile picture, right from the hotel! The staff were so awesome that they felt like family. The rooms were very comfortable and ours was at the end of the corridor with a big window overlooking a snow clad hill. There is a warm seating area next to the reception, with a real fire place, giving it a great vibe. A lot of activities (as much as you can expect from a 150- person tiny village) on offer around the place, which also is the NW most point of Finland and right next to the borders with Sweden and Norway too. There is a bus change at Kilpisjarvi when going to Tromso or the other way round, and the bus stops right at the hotel. Overall we couldn't find a single negative to list out. Special mention to Niila and Sari - thank you from our hearts. The spruce ice cream dessert at dinner remains the best dessert we have had traveling across EU, in the past two weeks!

It had a fully equipped kitchen, and the building also had a ski room and a place to wax equipment. The location was perfect, short walking distance from the slopes, restaurants, and tour centre.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location is perfect, right in the city and super convenient, with shops, cafés, and a supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. The design and attention to detail are impressive. Every day, our fridge was restocked with breakfast items and the room was cleaned thoroughly. The hotel staff were attentive and responsive to every message we sent. If I visit this city again, I will definitely come back to stay here! 🩷
