Original Sokos Hotel Royal is like a small city within the city, a dynamic meeting place for locals and travelers. The list is long; excellent touch-control and motion sensitive lighting, hotel remained pin quiet throughout the stay, everything was new, clean. Sauna was easy to operate, smart large showers. Vaasa is an interesting, historically rich, smaller city- and hope to return. Great hotel for longer stays due to 0 frustrations.

This hotel is 5-minute walk from Vaasa Central Station and offers a free evening sauna and a free fitness centre which opens each morning. All rooms have free WiFi. Henry treated us feel like VIPs. He was professional and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and well furnished. Room service did a 👏 great job tidying up the room and gave fresh towels. The sauna was a fantastic, free service that we could use between 5pm to 10pm. Clean and well equipped with towels, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Center of town location and proximity to supermarkets, restaurants and shopping.
