This hotel is right by the River Pielisjoki and 200 metres from Joensuu Station. It has a restaurant, pub and a nightclub. Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms at Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel Joensuu. We had an excellent stay here at this hotel. It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed. A great hotel!

Rantahuvila Virranniemi, que tiene vistas al lago, ofrece alojamiento con balcón y cafetera a unos 16 km de Viipuri Golf Course. We spent a few days in August here with friends. The house is real well equipped and we found everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well equipped! We spent most of our day relaxing on the beautiful porch overlooking the lake. There were a few other people staying in units close by but it was still very quiet and peaceful. We even found a big patch of chanterelle mushrooms in a nearly forest. This is definitely somewhere we will want to return to.

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 500 m from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 1.5 km away. El Hotel tiene una excelente ubicación. El desayuno es muy bueno y abundante. La Zona de Piscina y Sauna fueron geniales.

Hostel Mansikka está en Taipalsaari, en la región de Finlandia Meridional, a 17 km de Puerto de Lappeenranta. El entorno es espectacular y la casa tiene mucho potencial en cuanto a espacios, pero está un poco destartalada y no muy limpia (sabanas y toallas bien, el resto, no tanto)
