Situated next to Lake Pyhäselkä in North Karelia, Holiday Linnunlahti offer self-catering apartments with a private terrace, sauna and loft. Joensuu city centre is 1 km away. This was our second time in Linnunlahti and definitely not the last. Very well decorated cottages, squeaky clean with everything one could wish for (even a MokkaMaker coffee machine 😀). Right next to the skiing tracks and a lake with a lovely beach. Thanks for everything!

This hotel is right by the River Pielisjoki and 200 metres from Joensuu Station. It has a restaurant, pub and a nightclub. Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms at Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel Joensuu. Wonderful breakfast Very kind and professional recetion desk. Parking was convenient 13euros /day

The house is real well equipped and we found everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well equipped! We spent most of our day relaxing on the beautiful porch overlooking the lake. There were a few other people staying in units close by but it was still very quiet and peaceful. We even found a big patch of chanterelle mushrooms in a nearly forest. This is definitely somewhere we will want to return to.

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 500 m from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 1.5 km away. The room we were given in was outstanding with an exquisite view over Lake Saimaa. This was the best view we had from a hotel in our trip through Scandinavia. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast had a large variety! The location of the hotel was perfect.

Hotel GreenStar Joensuu offers affordable, eco-friendly accommodation in Joensuu city centre, only 75 metres from the Carelicum Museum. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good price for what if offered. Clean and good condition rooms. Facilities such as the possibility to use microwave, plates and utensils, coffee/tea anytime.

This central Hotelli Lähde hotel is on the shore of Lake Saimaa. It provides sauna access. All rooms have free internet. The air-conditioned rooms at Hotelli Lähde include a TV, work desk and fridge. It was very nice, room was large and comfortable

The location was excellent......right beside the lake and harbour, and within easy walking distance of the town centre, fortress and swimming area. The hotel is a beautiful old and very quaint building. The room was really nice and bright, but not very big. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent.
