Very nice and spacious room with amazing modern furniture. Very clean and tidy with great sound isolation. Great location. Kind, comunicative and friendly receptionists. Huge parking area - covered garage and open space.

Set 400 metres from the sea front and the beach La Grande Plage in Biarritz, Au Bon Coin offers a bar, lift, terrace and free WiFi throughout. The breakfast bar was incredible! All local specialities. Jacques, the owner, was so kind and welcomed my husband's Guide Dog for the Blind, Linda, with open arms. Such a wonderful place away from the tourists.

Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Nestled in the heart of La Rochelle and set in an 18th-century building, Maison des Ambassadeurs is just a 5-minute walk from the Old Harbour and offers a 24-hour front desk as well as a concierge... Everything was excellent. The personnel were charming and welcoming, they were always smiling. I encountered a problem in my room and they dealt with it momentarily. Pools was nice in comparison to the city and what is available. Loved my stay.

Set in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and with Grande Beach reachable within 400 metres, Bizipoz Hôtel offers concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Staff service was exceptional, they were so helpful in getting us to the parking, through the check in to the rooms, and always with a smile! The room was great, spacious and with a massive tv. Great location too.

Lovely clean room and friendly staff. They were very welcoming and kind. Good breakfast. Perfect place for a lone traveller to explore the area.

Offering a garden and city view, Le Lodge Park à La Rochelle is located in La Rochelle, 2.7 km from Concurrence Beach and 1.8 km from La Rochelle Train Station. Lovely apartment at the back of the building so you don’t hear the road at the front. Everything you need for a great stay, plus a balcony so you can sit out. Easy flat walk into the city centre in about 20 minutes. Free on street parking at the front of the building which was a bonus. Alain is a super host and his English is brilliant, we’ll definitely stay there again when we go to La Rochelle.

Ted Surf House is set on the seafront in Capbreton, 200 metres from Centrale Beach and 35 km from Biarritz La Négresse Train Station. The air-conditioned accommodation is 39 km from Dax Train Station.... Lovely place for a one-night stay en route from the ferry at Santander to the Dordogne. A stone's throw from the sea - loved it. Met lots of lovely young surfers and the staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was perfect, parking for us right outside.
