What made our stay exceptional though was the hospitality of Garrett (and later Rémy). Garrett not only made us feel welcome, helped us orient ourselves, gave excellent restaurant recommendations, he also, in the spur of the moment, helped us organize a small party for our friends. When I answered that our stay exceeded our expectations, it was above all because of Garrett's hospitality. The Domaine de Montine has a little jewel there in Garrett!

Excellent location to stay for a night if you travel from Spain to the French Alps. Very clean and comfortable space and truly amazing restaurant nearby.

Château Les Oliviers de Salettes is een 16e-eeuws kasteel dat zich in een 5 hectare groot park bevindt, op slechts 20 km van het treinstation van Montélimar. It is a wonderful property! I would describe it by word serenity, you truly connect with nature there. The team at the Chateau was very pleasant. I have asked couple of times for recommendations and the ladies at the reception have gone above and beyond to give me suggestions for best local experiences and even made some reservations for me. The dinner and the local wine shop that they suggested was truly the highlight. The premise includes wonderful pools, park area, restaurants, wineries and lavender fields. Truly unique! Just take some time and walk around to appreciate the world we live in and the beauty of France! Breakfast was really wonderful, so much food and so delicious! I only regret that I had to cancel my dinner reservation at Le Lavandin because the group I was with was very particular about their dinner choices but if I was alone I would have done it a thousand times. I imagine the food there is great too! Bonus- look up at night, you can see the stars and they are magnificent!

Het moderne hotel Logis Hôtel La Bastide De Grignan & Restaurant "La Chênaie" is gebouwd in 2004 en ligt in een park, op 800 m van het kasteel van Grignan. We absolutely loved this hotel and our three night stay. From the moment we stepped in the doors and were welcomed by Thomas. We have stayed in this area a few times but this hotel is by far our favourite. The warm homely atmosphere, the lovely area to relax with a glass of wine in the evening, the restaurant for dinner, the breakfast area with such choice. Plentiful parking.The attention to detail is superb, really 5 star. We stayed in February which is off season but we will be back to enjoy the gardens in the springtime. You just have to stay here!
