Our favourite part was the home cooked continental breakfast, the muffins were incredible and there was a great selection of foods. We were also lucky enough to be the only people staying here, but even if it was full there were few enough rooms that the stay would still have been cosy and private.

I booked the Towy Suite, a spacious and beautifully bright room with plenty of windows. The four-poster bed was luxurious, and I appreciated the comfortable couch, large screen TV, and dining room table that made the suite feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a huge shower that added a touch of luxury. Room service was a treat – I received a massive plate of fish and chips paired with a carafe of wine, all of which was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was made-to-order and served in the inn’s dining room, adding a personal touch to the stay. The clientele here is what I would call “respectable,” embodying a refined, traditional Wales charm that enhances the inn’s peaceful, quiet ambiance. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional, and my stay at The Plough Inn was perfect in every way. Highly recommended!

Cottages at The Vine Tree Cottage 2, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con patio y cafetera, y está a unos 26 km de Longtown Castle. everything was amazing. Beds were very comfy, I was sleeping as a baby. We've got everythinginthe kitchen what we need. Huge bathroom. Perfect place to stay with friends or family. Very close to the shops, pubs and nice place for hiking.

The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating. This is our second trip, nothing is too much trouble and it helps that there is a supermarket nearby.

It had everything you needed including towels for every guest and extra for the hot tub. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts were so helpful.

Me and my family stayed 2 nights and it was views from the apartment, lots to do in surrounding areas however you do need a car to be able to properly explore the beauty of wales. Waterfall country is an absolute must do it was absolutely breathtaking even in the rain. And zip world is a 15 minute drive offering lots of fun activities whatever age you are.
