The location is spectacular with nature literally right at your doorstep. Getting woken up by a pheasant on the roof of your pod at 5.30 was annoying but special at the same time. I sat with the door open with a cup of tea watching him watching me until he got bored and wandered off. The pod and the showers/bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Didn't really use the kitchen except to boil water, but that was clean too. Gemma was really kind letting me use the shower after I got a bit lost on an overly ambitious mountain bike ride and got back just minutes before the 11am check-out time. Thank you! It's a pity it was only for a one night stop off....next year I will spend more time here.

Set in 2 acres of garden and grounds with views over the Tay Valley and mountains beyond, Tayview Lodges is situated in Guay, Dunkeld, just 10 minutes drive from Pitlochry. Perth is 28 km away. Very nice place to stay. Georgina and Ross were great support. Ross spent some time with me giving me information about the nearby area and POI. Also there is a folder in the lodge with all of the information that you would need during ur stay. 100% recommend place and very cooperative and supportive owners.

Our flight was delayed. We informed the hotel and the answer we got was: "The kitchen will stay open until you arrive." The service, the food, the ambience were perfect. We will definitly come back!

It was a clean, neat and tidy studio with a bathroom that is attached to the end of the host's house. It has all the amenities I needed for a short stay. Joyce was very friendly when I bumped into her, but she left me to myself the rest of the time, which I appreciated. Wifi worked really well, and the kitchenette was excellent for preparing meals.
