Located in Makarska, 200 metres from Biloševac Beach, Boutique Hotel Mirjam provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Good location. We caught the Flixibus from Spiit to Markarska bus station and walked about 15 minutes. Good breakfast. Good variety of fruits, nuts, yogurts as well as hot options. Clean rooms. Lovely views. A downhill walk to the bars and restaurants. Would stay here again if we go to Makarska again. It was a shame we didn't get chance to use the pool as it looked lovely but it was a bit cloudy and windy on the days we stopped here. Did not spoil our stay though.

The modern 4-star beachfront Medora Auri Family Beach Resort, situated in Podgora town in the heart of Makarska Riviera, closest hotel to Biokovo Skywalk, features heated outdoor swimming pools, a... First, the hotel was huge enough and even though there were lots of people, nobody had problems with one another. Then, the location was excellent, views were exceptional, free sunbeds, all inclusive drinks during breakfast and dinner, rooms were small but functional and clean. My mom’s had the best birthday ever since they provided me with a small cake and they helped me arrange a bouquet of flowers as well, so my mom had the best time there so did the whole family. Beach was very comfortable, it had some activities ( water aerobics, sea dance, yoga), after activities the beach was quiet and relaxed. The sea was 10/10!

Built in 1921 and completely restructured in 2015, the Hotel Park Split is a traditional first-class hotel in the centre of Split, right next to the famous Bačvice beach. The staff was amazing and we loved the overall vibe, that is something you cannot compensate with anything else. We had a great time. Oh, yes, a-mazing breakfast, loved the live piano music, the touch-ups (honey comb, hot dogs, waffles, sparkling wine, tiramisu jars, loved it). And very comfortable bed and pillow. The pool is tiny and the beds are just a few, but we enjoyed the vibe, privacy, familiarity of it all. It wasn’t yet crowded season so we didn’t really have a difficult time finding spots. I can imagine things are a bit different in high season but we really loved our stay.
