Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Blackstairs Shepherds Huts is a campground situated in a historic building in Killedmond, 15 km from Carrigleade Golf Course. This was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. The rural property was beautiful and serene. I enjoyed the evening sitting outside of "the barn". Mary was so friendly and welcoming. The huts themselves were cozy and nicely decorated. I had a great sleep because it was so peaceful. The breakfast in the morning had lots of fresh and homemade products and was delicious.

Boasting lake views, Southern County Resort provides accommodation with patio, around 13 km from Altamont Gardens. It was so clean and tidy and had everything we needed I'd recommend it to anyone.

Located 12 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum, Coolanowle Self Catering Holiday Accommodation offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. We had a fantastic time, the beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept in, the houses were great and we were even able to get fresh meet and eggs right next door for our breakfast. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it was. Will definitely come back

Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was also really nice and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

In the Heritage Village of Leighlinbridge, just 10 minutes from Carlow and 20 minutes from Kilkenny off the N9, the Lord Bagenal has been renowned for award-winning food and wine. The breakfast was great. All the food was fresh and well prepared. There was an issue with Booking.com not forwarding our prepayment to the hotel. When this was brought to the attention of reception, it was promptly investigated and resolved to my full satisfaction. A great staff at reception.

Situated in Oldleighlin, in a historic building, 12 km from Leinster Hills Golf Club, Carey's Bar & Farmhouse Kilkenny Border is an apartment with a terrace and bar. Very warm cosy clean and comfortable we were only staying 1 night on our way to Kilkenny but it was so comfortable we had a very restful night and we had freedom to do our own cooking which was ideal.
