Markree Courtyard is the stable of the castle. The stalls were turned into huge luxurious and comfortable modernized rooms supplied with all your necessities in a hotel room including a robes and slippers. Breakfast was divine, delicious and plentiful.

Very warm welcome. Beautiful place. Great host and family, including the lambs. The bed and pillows were amazing. View and location fantastic as was the breakfast. Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. The location, the quality, the welcome, the room, the balcony and the view! The continental breakfast is simple but it serves the purpose. Hams, cheeses, fruits, breads, cereals, granola mix, good coffee, tea, juices!

River View, a property with a garden, is set in Quignalahy, 38 km from Mayo North Heritage Centre, 38 km from Foxford Woolen Mills Visitor Centre, as well as 46 km from Cathedral of Immaculate... Our host was so lovely! We felt super welcome right away - more like guests than tourists, if that makes sense. She did us a huge favour (which, for her sake, I'd rather not advertise here) and I wish we had had more time to chat. The tips she gave us regarding things to do in the area were great! We were offered toast and cereals for breakfast (but only had coffee).

Set just 20 km from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre, Ash Lodge provides accommodation in Moytirra with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as bicycle parking. Very clean and roomy with amazing water pressure in the shower! Comfy home feeling. It is in the country away from pretty much anything. That’s what we wanted, just something to be aware of! Very friendly family! Full kitchen, 4 beds-2 were a little softer, 2 a little firmer so so something for everyone!!!! Plenty of room for 4+ adults.

The Waters Edge is located on The Wild Atlantic Way at Aughris Head. Free WiFi access is available and the property offers free parking. Beautiful home and the views were spectacular. Host couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
