Loved the place very scenic. The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. The Staff managed to put away food for us on the side this way when we got to the hotel we had all the meals ready. Thank you hotel Laxa for the great hospitality and good stay!

This hotel is situated on Lake Myvatn, 3.3 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. スタッフが皆さんフレンドリーでした。かといって何か立ち入って来るでもなく、ちょうど良かったです。 また近い内に行きたいです。 あと、屋外の露天風呂も最高でした。 朝食のサーモンはとても美味しいです。ディナーのタラのフライも美味しくて、サラダも美味しくて。美味しいものしか記憶にありません。 お風呂は広いですし、屋外の露天風呂も10-20時で使えます。 レイキャビクからは遠いので、一日はここでゆっくり滞在されることをお勧めします。 ゴーザフォス、デティフォスともに車で30分くらいです。

Situated by Lake Myvatn, this hotel offers WiFi . All rooms feature a TV and private bathroom. Skútustaðagígar natural site is 2 minutes’ walk away. This is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The Lake Myvatn area around the hotel was everything we hoped for and more. The trails around the nearby lake offered excellent walking and hiking. The hotel is quite close to other area attractions including the Myvatn baths. The included breakfast was exceptional with more choices than one could hope to work through in a stay of several days. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and service from hotel and restaurant staff was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Set on Lake Myvatn’s northern shore, this property is 5 minutes’ drive from Myvatn Nature Baths. On-site facilities include a communal kitchen, small convenience store and bicycle rental. The town is beautiful. The rooms are old fashioned, but stylish.
