Residence Hotel Takayama Station ofrece alojamiento con una ubicación excelente en el centro de Takayama y ofrece centro de fitness, wifi gratis y terraza. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in in Japan, this one is by far the best. The room is very clean and fragrant, and has complete amenities in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It even has a washing machine that is easy to use. I also love the balcony - it has a great view of the train station. The staff are really nice. They communicate and respond well to questions. They even offered me extra bottled water when I requested for more. One of them also helped me with my luggage delivery even though he was on his break. The hotel is in a perfect location, just beside the bus/train station. There’s a FamilyMart nearby and everything is a short walking distance away. I really got my money’s worth. I would definitely stay here again! I had a lovely time.

HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA es un alojamiento muy bien situado en Takayama que ofrece bar, wifi gratis, servicio de masajes y habitaciones con aire acondicionado. Se ofrece parking privado por un suplemento. Excelente ubicación, instalaciones impecables, todo nítido, personal muy amable, super recomendado. La habitación familiar espectacular, los ninos les encanto la distribución teniendo un segundo piso y tener la experiencia de las camas en el suelo.

El Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort ofrece un alojamiento tradicional con baños termales y vistas a la naturaleza en las montañas tranquilas de Hida. LOVE EVERYTHING! Had a perfect stay in Miyama Ouan. From the staff,food,onsen and so on. It was a long drive from Kyoto to Takayama and when the bus arrived from the last station the free shuttle for pick-up is already there waiting for us, probably due to heavy snowfall at that time, THANK YOU! the resort is just a 5-10mins walk from the station but its impossible with all the snow. All the staff are kind and accommodating, they always make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. Love their Yakuta, they let you chose which design you like. The room is spacious ,clean and the view from the bath is great. the onsen is perfect with a bit of snow falling . the view from the restaurant every breakfast is unparalleled. Thank you Miyama for giving me an unforgettable winter experience. Will definitely come back again!

Guest House Hinode se encuentra en Takayama, a 2,6 km de Estación de Takayama y a 4,8 km de Localidad Museo de Hida Minzoku Mura, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, bicicletas... When we arrived we really felt like entering a local house, asbolutely authentic one, with a very nice living room. The owner is a symbol of japanese kindness, he also offered himself to take us to Takayama centre in a rainy day. Another plus: the beds are very confortable, and the street very quite, it's the place where I've slept the best in our trip so far. The surrondings doesn't have much to offer, but there's a bar (maybe an izakaya, though I'm not sure) just down the street and a sushi restaurant at 10mins walk. The old town is not far either, maybe 20min walk.

Every corner of the house reflects the host’s attention to detail and pride of ownership. Live Takayama is the definition of japanese hospitality. We were welcomed with a few personal touches that made us feel right at home — a handwritten chalkboard sign, super friendly dog - Coco, and helpful tips for things to do in the area. It’s rare to come across a space that feels both luxurious and homey, but this place struck the perfect balance. Location was perfect as well — quiet, safe, and just minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already planning our return.
