We stayed for 3 nights in this brand-new guesthouse, which opened in June 2025. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, and the bathrooms and common areas were also impeccably clean and well equipped to make guests feel at home. The value for money is unbeatable. The host is a wonderful person: kind, respectful, and very welcoming. One evening he even invited us to join him at a local restaurant where we could try unique island specialties (such as goat sashimi and other delicacies). Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and authentic stay.

We had an amazing stay! The glamping site is peaceful, right by the river, with beautiful views and nature all around. It’s perfect for relaxing or being active. The place is pet-friendly—we stayed with our cat, and the owners’ dog was super cute and friendly. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, giving great tips about local activities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a lovely walk-in shower. We loved the terrace and small garden for privacy and views. The outdoor shower was great after exercise. Breakfast and picnic options were delicious. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for couples, families, or friends.

Arriba son 3 habitaciones, 2 de estilo japonés (tatami + futon y hasta tenía kotatsu) y 1 estilo occidental (cama cucheta/marinera, con piso normal). Espacio más que suficiente. La ubicación era a unas 20 cuadras a pié de la estacion Kagoshima chuo. pero a pocas cuadras habian 2 lineas tranvía y una linea de bus. Hermoso lugar, sin lugar a dudas volveremos.

Yamato inn - Vacation STAY 86368v se encuentra en Amami y ofrece alojamiento a 18 km de Amami Marine Exhibition Hall, a 23 km de Yanigawa Shopping Street y a 23 km de Tida Mall Shopping Street. It's called "Yamato Inn," but this is a holiday cottage not an inn. We (5 of us) stayed for two nights in May and we loved it. The house has a bedroom, futon mattresses for the living room floor, and a folding bed next to the kitchen area. It's quite tight to fit 5 people but we didn't mind. The house had everything we needed including a well-equipped kitchen with tea/coffee and bottles of water, a living room with a lovely handmade wooden coffee table, and comfortable beds. In the entrance hall, the hosts thoughtfully provide beach equipment (BBQ, tents, snorkelling gear) and torches for night safaris -- during which we found many rabbits!! There's a very nice garden with a deck and lawn. It's such a pleasant place to sit and relax. The beach is about 100m from the house. Perfect. The young couple who own and manage the cottage are really friendly and helpful. They have worked hard to reform the house, and they deserve to succeed. I hope many more people will stay... We will stay again as soon as we can!
