We enjoyed the onsen, and were very close to the ski rental shop just a few minutes walk away. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming!!

Everything was more than delicious. We enjoyed the onsen on site. The shared bathroom had even more things that you need. They thought about every detail. The staff was super friendly and helped us with transport information. We will be back for sure!

The family room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. Good size with tatami floor beds in one room and western beds in the other room. Free breakfast was provided which was perfect before a day of skiing. Loved the common lounge/ dining/ bar area, it was a great place to hang out. The common dry room was convenient for storing ski gear and laundry room was useful too. Staff were amazing- always happy to help. Thank you to Jeff, Miyu and team.

Only a 7-minute walk from Akakura Ski Resort, Hotel Taiko features indoor and outdoor public hot spring baths, massages and a sauna. Super amazing customer service even when I arrived late to the train station and was struggling to reach the hotel. Made sure I reached hotel safely in the thick winter snow!

Resort Project Myoko Kogen Hot Spring provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 31 km of Zenkoji Temple and 33 km of Nagano Station. Enjoyed the Onsen, the breakfast was more than I expected and the hotpot which you need to book 24 hours ahead left no space for more food.
