The staff was lovely, we had dinner at the restaurant there- indian style, and it was delicious! The owner made everything to order and we had a great time. Atsu was so nice and welcoming! Relatively close to Matsumoto and Nagano, but great if you look for a peaceful and quiet location

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 9.1 km of Otsumago and 9.3 km of Kotoku-ji Temple. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Out host was very attentive, the setting lovely, and the private onsen overlooking the waterfall was fabulous.

Tsutaya Tokinoyado Kazari features an open-air bath, free bikes, a garden and bar in Kiso. This 4-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and hot tub. The place was all class. The architectural beauty was unmatched by any hotel I stayed at in Japan. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They did not always get it right but by golly, they got everything right all in all. The food was exemplary and the onsen was good. I plan to go back.

The room was cosy and warm, storage for ski equipment and great breakfast included in the price. Daily shuttle runs to slopes included.

The hotel is located in Asama Onsen, and the surroundings are very pleasant. The room design is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, with a private hot spring that is incredibly relaxing. Each floor also offers ice cream, juice, and various snacks. The staff service is excellent, and you can tell the food in the restaurant is made with fresh, seasonal local ingredients. The service in the restaurant is also very good. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel is an 8-minute drive from JR Hakuba Station and a 3-minute drive from Happo-One Bus Terminal. A free 2-way shuttle to both destinations is provided upon prior reservation. Enjoyed my first time in Hakuba experience. The hotel, staff and breakfast were lovely. Thank you!

Located in the centre of Shibu hot-spring area and a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station, Sakaeya offers Japanese-style accommodations. A truly wonderful experience start to finish. We booked the twin room with private external bathroom (i.e an outdoor relaxation area with a hot tub fed from the hot spring water). When you walk into the room you feel instantly relaxed. Supreme luxury and comfort. Our breakfast and dinner were included, and it was absolute fine dining, some of the best food we have ever eaten (served up in our own private dining room!) The service was second to none, we felt absolutely spoiled every minute of our stay. An unforgettable experience.
