Our host was super nice and friendly, our family had a utmost warm welcome and introduction of the house. Delighted to see a historical house so well taken care of and the cuisine was just exceptional. To keep it short, I just wish to have stay one more night!

El B&B Hotel Hyochoan, inaugurado en agosto de 2012, ofrece alojamientos sencillos de estilo occidental. After five weeks in Japan having breakfast cross country I can say that this was the best breakfast we had. Home cooked and presented with pride for the products they use. The owners are the sweetest people we have met during our trip. Would recommend to stay here with exclamation marks (!).

An absolutely stunning place to stay. The room facilities were immaculate, I was able to make great use of the private onsen on the terrace. Both breakfast and dinner were served as part of the room package and all meals were created using fresh local produce. The hotel places high value on local community and sustainability. I hope I can visit here again someday.

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel is an 8-minute drive from JR Hakuba Station and a 3-minute drive from Happo-One Bus Terminal. A free 2-way shuttle to both destinations is provided upon prior reservation. El Hotel estuvo súper bien, muy cómodo, buen hubicado, excelente personal y bien conectado con el sistema de Shutlel gratis del pueblo. El Onsen es estupendo.

El Sakaeya está situado en el centro de la zona de aguas termales de Shibu, a 5 minutos en coche de la estación de trenes Yudanaka y a 10 minutos en coche del parque de los monos de nieve, en el que... This is a true Japanese cultural and cuisine experience that was the highlight of our holiday. The room with private Onsen and private bathroom was exceptional and much better than we imagined for a traditional Raikan and the Onsen experience was worth pushing our comfort zones for. The culinary offerings were incredible (even if many were not to our taste) they clearly pride themselves on perfection, symmetry and are proud of their cultural roots. Some of their dishes have been presented to the imperial household and wearing traditional clothing and private intimate dining you simply couldn’t ask for a truer traditional & cultural experience at the highest end. The Raikan bus to the snow monkeys is only a 5 minute drive and they ask for a small contribution to cover their costs. The private Onsen on the terrace was an absolute treat.

Absolutely amazing experience and the location is easily accessible by local train, bus station and by car.
