Excellent, would stay again in a heartbeat. They were fantastic with my wife’s allergies and provided delicious changes that didn’t leave her wanting during the stay. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the space. Everyone was polite and helpful regardless of language barrier and it was a really relaxing stay whilst learning about the history of Koyasan.

Our room was gorgeous, looking into an inner garden, with a lovely bathroom and a huge wardrobe. It was spotlessly clean and extremely spacious. We were offered hakatas, and took the delicious veggie dinner and breakfast in a side room of the temple. The staff were so polite and helpful and one monk took us on a very informative tour of the graveyard after dark on Halloween - perfect. We were lucky enough to attend the morning prayer ceremony with only one other guest which made it very intimate, in the stunning inner sanctum. The whole building and its gardens are really fabulous. I wasn’t sure what to expect and if we would feel like intruders, but the stay was way beyond our expectations

Amazing accomodation, what a little gem! You can tell the host had put in a lot of effort for the guests. Outside it looks older, however the inside is fresh and looks newly done up. Self check in was easy, apartment was spacious and very clean. Host has everything you could need, and a manual to help you out with all the appliances and setting up the onsen. Easy to get to by train from the station or Nachi falls, and host sent me through the bus timetable just making out stay that little bit easier. Bikes were a big plus, was a 5 min bike ride for us to grab some dinner as we arrived late in the afternoon. There was a great selection of manga in English and Japanese to enjoy as well. Everything was very convenient and great for travellers walking the Kumano Kodo. Thank you very much for having us!

Everyone was really welcoming the onsens are great and for private use. The food was amazing. The room had all the possible comfort you can imagine. This stay was not cheap but worth the money.

The Onsen! It had private hours for inn guests. I also appreciated the clean, modern cabin. Yusuke and the whole staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even offering a shuttle to and from Koyasan twice per day. Beautiful valley. there is a bridge that allows you to get down to the rivers edge to enjoy the water.
