De accommodatie ligt op een perfecte locatie bij de nightmarket. De host is super aardig! Hij had voor ons een ontbijt to go klaar gemaakt omdat we vroeg weg moesten. Zelfs toen de taxi die we hadden geregeld niet kwam opdagen heeft hij ons met de scooter naar een tuktuk gebracht op de vroege ochtend. Echt ontzettend dankbaar!

The view from my room was simply amazing, overlooking a beautiful garden. The room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. The service staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist. The hotel also has a well - equipped fitness center, which is perfect for those who like to stay active during their travels.

I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

The 5-star boutique resort is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Included in the room rate, Le Palais offers free beer and wine from 9 AM to 9 PM daily during your stay. The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. Truly the highlight of our two weeks in the region. From the moment we arrived at the pier the staff was fantastic, especially to our young daughter. We just came from staying at a Four Seasons and the staff at La Residence far exceeded what we experienced there. The rooms, restaurant and ground are also perfect - the location is ideal for exploring Luang Prabang but retreating after dark to relax and debrief over cocktails. We are already discussing a return for next winter.

This was a lovely property that was very clean and incredibly convenient to everything. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The morning market is at your doorstep and the night market just steps away at the end of the street. The hotel front desk was helpful above and beyond. A bunch of us were having troubles booking a train. Our front desk guy was able to manage booking the train and taxi within minutes. I wish I knew his name, because he was a spectacular host. He always went out of his way to be so helpful. If anything, stay here for the kind and very friendly staff.
