We booked this on short notice 10 minutes before we arrived and were super happy that the owner is so flexible. The accommodation was super clean and really nice. It’s right at the beach and beside a great restaurant. Everything was clean and the host was really friendly. We felt comfortable and great to stay here. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing and wonderfull stay..... Very beautiful small hotel with huge facilities. Little bit inside the city but juat 10 minuts ride by tuk tuk. 1.5 km for the main city. Juat a breath taking view of kaluthara river and kaluthara dagaba. Very tasty foods. Id like recommend this place. 10/10

The House is magnificent and beautifully located on the beach. It's spotless and very comfortable (great slightly more firm pillows and a comfy bed which are big ones for me). The pool is GREAT as is the outside chill area. It's a really beautiful villa. Hasitha, the guy that was there to assist us was great - very helpful and respected out request for privacy. Communication in general was top notch. The view of the sea from the upper level is magnificent.

This is a luxurious place with only seven rooms. We almost had the place to ourselves. The staff, especially Eshan and Rukmal were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast and dinners, included in the room rate, was gourmet level and really makes this a great value with luxury. Don’t miss the beautiful pool. Would be great for a destination wedding!!

It was the highlight of our trip around Sri Lanka. The villa is grand! Two large rooms on the upper level and one room on the ground floor offer room for up to eight people. The swimming pool and the direct access to the beach were marvelous, not just for the kids. In this spacious area everyone finds the right place to relax. Thanks to the attentive staff, we could wind down and just enjoy a few calm days.

The Villas, Wadduwa ligt in Wadduwa en biedt gratis WiFi en accommodaties met een kitchenette en een terras. Alle accommodaties zijn voorzien van airconditioning en een flatscreen-tv. Een heel rustige oase waar je echt op je gemak was. Ook personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de twee dames aan de receptie, waren echt super.

In a secluded beachfront along Sri Lanka’s southwest coast, only an hour away from the capital, Anantara Kalutara Resort is a heavenly getaway with luxurious accommodation and inspirational... Everything. The staff were so friendly and amazing. Whenever I asked for anything it’s provided within minutes. The suite I booked was really nice and the ocean view just so relaxing. The resort is so big and has so many activities. The pool is beautiful. The food in the restaurant was good and prices were fair.

De kamers waren ruim met een mooi uitzicht op zee. De faciliteiten zoals het zwembad en de fitness ruimte waren heel goed. Beste hotel waar we in verbleven tijdens onze reis door sri lanka.

Built on 9 acres of gardens, AVANI Kalutara Resort (formerly Kani Lanka Resort and Spa) is located by the Kalu Ganga River. It offers an outdoor pool, a luxurious spa and free Wi-Fi. This was my second time at this property. Last time, I stayed in a private pool villa. Since I traveled alone this time, I chose a standard room. The room size is quite small but still suitable for a solo traveler. I encountered an issue 15 minutes after check-in, but it was resolved quickly. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly. I particularly liked my room because it faced the beach. As I mentioned, the issue I had was addressed promptly, and the key person responsible was the very professional Guest Relations Executive, Ms. Tharindi. She is welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The main reason I am giving a 10/10 rating is because of her outstanding service and quick resolution of my concern. Every morning, she checks in with guests to ensure their comfort, which I truly appreciate. Having worked in the service industry for the past 12 years, I know how important this level of care is. Ms. Tharindi, you are a valuable asset to this property. Once again, thank you for making my stay at Avani so memorable. I would also like to thank the Front Office Manager, Mr. Jayantha, and the Executive Housekeeper, Mr. Eric, who personally met with me and resolved the issue. Additionally, my gratitude goes to the room attendant who kept my room impeccably clean.

The hotel is located right at the beach, easy access to the ocean. Staff made the stay so wonderful, the different meals every day was quite great. The management was totally in control of staff and was so helpful for Us.
