An amazing hotel in Kandy, with brand-new, luxurious facilities. Truly speechless. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff was attentive. Breakfast was delicious, with six different options to choose from. The hotel is a little removed from the center of Kandy, so transportation by taxi, tuk-tuk, or private driver is recommended, totally worth it, though!

We stayed at Simpson’s Forest – Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa in February 2025 and had a truly memorable experience. The location is absolutely stunning—set among lush tea plantations and forested hills, it’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking to relax and disconnect from the busy city life. The double room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The food throughout our stay was excellent, with a great mix of local and international dishes. The value for money here is exceptional, especially considering the level of service and quality of the facilities. The staff were a major highlight. The front desk team were warm, professional, and very helpful. A special mention to Wasantha at the restaurant—he was incredibly kind and accommodating, making each meal feel like a personalized experience. The only small downside is that the resort is located about 45 minutes by tuk tuk from Kandy city center, which can make getting back and forth a bit of a trip. That said, the peaceful setting more than makes up for the distance. We highly recommend Simpson’s Forest to anyone visiting Kandy and looking for a scenic, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely love to return!

The facilities, the modernity of the installations, the comfort of the beds, and most importantly, the kindness of the owner – she helped me with the train tickets to Ella and took care of me at all times. I would have loved to stay longer, but it was fully booked! Def highly recommended!

Kandy Calm Residence (Only for foreigners) está en Pallekele Kadawidiya, a 3,5 km de Estadio Internacional de Críquet de Pallekele, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y parking privado... This is absolutely fantastic accommodation. The room is lovely with a view of pond but the real blessing is Mangelika with her husband who make you feel like you are the most special person in their universe. Do not hesitate to visit them, you will not want to stay anywhere else.
