The view from the rooms and the garden is stunning. You have some hammocks to chill looking at the Sigiriya Rock. It is near to many restaurants so you can walk to go to a for lunch or dinner or have a delicious meal prepared by Suriya’s wife. They even proposed a cooking lesson for us and our children one night: it was a beautiful experience. Suriya’s does everything he can to make your stay special : he took our children to a wood carving workshop, he took us to an Ayurvedic spa, and also demonstrated his incredible skills carving a watermelon and vegetables : quite a show! He also organized our taxis and took us with his Tuktuk to our activities and also to Dambulla. The rooms are very clean, the beds are confortable , you have AC, mosquito net, and the place is very calm. If you want a more authentic experience I recommend you to go there if you visit Sigiriya.
