Pradeep and the other young men took us on tours and wanted to feel at home and showed us the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We went on an all inclusive plan and loved it!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. We like the people, especially the manager Inbaraj, who is a great and kind man. He showed us the cinnamon plantations and explained how everything is used, he was so kind. We liked the dinner, the best chicken curry we tried so far in Sri Lanka, also there was a desert, we liked a lot. The room was clean, sanitized, everything was great, the view from our room was great. Mr. Inbaraj also treat us with the best papaya juice, coffee and the plantation harvests. We are so grateful and happy that we choose this place for our stay in Yala. The place is also near the Yala park, which was great as well.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. One word : perfect. The room, the amazing view (peacocks next to the room), the staff, and also the restaurant was awesome. The owner made sure that everything was right for us, and was very accommodating. Set in Tissamaharama, 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Nehansa Resort and safari offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We had unforgettable experience with nehansa resort crew. When we arrived, they offered us free tour to nearby lake to see alligators and huge colony of bats. Next morning we went to private safari which we prebooked at resort. The safari was amazing and we had probably the best driver ever! We managed to see leopards twice, and second one was spotted by our driver. Last say we booked taxi ride to mirissa with resort owner that was great, cheap and super comfortable in Toyota prius. Anyway, we LOVED every second of our stay!

Situated 2.9 km from Tissa Wewa, New Vilard offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The owner and his family was very nice and helpful. We received the as welcome gift. At the end of our stay, the owner went with us to the bus station, and explained us everything (and offered us bananas for the road). The room is fit for 3 people, quite large. The shower has hot water. There is A/C in the room. There was a mosquito net. The owner arranged quickly a safari (which we enjoyed), and woke up early to give us our lunchboxes. WiFi was working well.

Owner made sure we had a breakfast packed for a very early departure (0430), and allowed us to quickly change and wash up before departing after our safari experience. Best deal I have ever had for a night’s stay. Very clean and roomy and comfortable!

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. Very nice place. The host is very friendly. I give 5 out of 5 points for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you very much for the organized safari and the hospitality.

Hilton Yala Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Yala. 21 km from Situlpawwa and 22 km from Tissa Wewa, the property provides a terrace and a bar. The hotel was very well designed and the amenities were excellent. Specific call out to the main restaurant where we had great service from the staff & chef (Jerome) and delicious meals catered to our taste. Being in the forest, it was a lovely experience to walk around the compound and wake up to the sight of animals within the vicinity (e.g. monkeys or squirrels in the morning). Would highly recommend this resort for visitors looking to do a safari at Yala National Park.
