Exquisite and historic, the owners have beautifully and sympathetically restored a property to a superb standard, using and restoring ancient pieces of furniture whilst incorporating it sympathetically with new and modern. Great quality throughout. The location is rural, peaceful and quiet with lots of exploring opportunities nearby. And finally, the super helpful and friendly hosts made this a perfect stay.

They have several apartments, and the photos on Booking are orientative only, they are not the photos of the real places, but they deliver on what's promised. I stayed in the apartment located in Solsiden - 5 min away from Bryggene, 10 min from lovely Bakkegata, 1 min from Solsiden lively square with lots of restaurants. Perfect location. In terms of facilities, they also have everything that's stated on the Facilities section + coffee filters, scissors, detergent for dishes and washing machine. The only thing not included is toiletries (shampoo, shower gel), but if you read the facilities you'll be prepared (as they don't state they include that). I noticed some bad reviews due to the lack of awareness that this address is only for the keys pickup, while the actual apartments are 5 minutes walking distance away from this address, in Solsiden center. If you're aware and have the expectations correctly set, then no surprises mean no problem. For any questions, you can message them and they reply quickly, clearly and kindly. This modern style hostel is your home away from home with an unformal social area, fully equipped guest kitchen, self-servied laundrey facilities and parking garage. The facilities were amazing, the layout of the room and shared spaces were super great. I felt very comfortable and safe as a solo traveller.
