Situated by the Nidelva River in the picturesque Bakklandet district of Trondheim, Scandic Bakklandet offers free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen cable TVs. Nice hotel, city parking straight next to it, with entry in the hotel, good breakfast, nice breakfast room with a view. Just the desk employees a bit too young, nice but lacking of knowledge of basic information. (Like which button to use to get from the hotel in the parking, is the 15th of August a legal holiday).

Situated in the heart, Quality Hotel Prinsen is a 2-minute walk from Trondheim Square. It offers free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen cable TVs. Trøndelag Theatre is 200 metres away. Great hotel: central location, great staff, modern and clean hotel/room and great breakfast buffet. Would certainly book again when visiting Trondheim. The staff was really helpfull which made our stay even more pleasant.
