We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The room and bed were super comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast on the patio was great. We were able to do laundry while there, too, which was a nice bonus. The owner was a very nice lady, quite helpful. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again one day!

Set in Marahau, 300 metres from Marahau Beach, Adventure Inn Marahau offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. We absolutely loved Adventure Inn Marahau!! We arrived early, and manager Mac made us feel welcome right away! We met some amazing people here, and even though it was raining all day on the first day we arrived, we were happy we spent our time here. There was plenty to do inside and we will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay near Abel Tasman National Park!!

Kaiteriteri Reserve Apartments is set in Kaiteriteri overlooking the golden sand beach. The accommodation is air-conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. The apartment was great! It was cosy with a lot of space. It was very clean and quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the location was great. The view from the main bedroom and the living room was beautiful. The washing machine, drying machine and dishwasher were very useful.

Waitapu Springs B&B is set in Takaka and features a spa and wellness centre and a shared lounge. This 3-star bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna and hot tub. Absolutely loved my stay with Marie and Serge. They were very warm and welcoming and were super helpful with any questions I had. The spa facilities were an amazing extra touch to this b&b. So dreamy to relax under a starry night sky in the hot tub after a long day and sweat everything off in the sauna. Very elaborate and delicious breakfast options. Would 100% recommend this lovely place in a beautiful location!!

Gladstone Motel is a 5 star property in Richmond. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast on request. Clean and Tidy. Reception were very helpful. Recommended us a great place for breakfast and fish and chips.

Patons Rock Beach Villas is a 3-star property located in Takaka. This villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Beautiful garden and surrounds - we relaxed and spent time in the sun. The villa had everything we needed and comfortable beds. We would come back here any time. Big tick for Ainslie for assisting us. Thank you for the stay.

Exceptionally well run motel. The lovely owner/operators just couldn’t do enough for us! The room was spacious and comfortable, and very well appointed. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed.

Located in Takaka, 10 minutes' drive from the beach, The Rocks Chalets features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. Eclectic little cluster of 4 chalets well maintained right outside of Tanaka (short 1 km walk on paved trail into town). Wonderful, welcoming owners who see after everything with great detail. Originally booked here because Kaiteriteri over the hill had nothing left, but would stay in Golden Bay again in heart beat. Nice drive to Totaranui on easy gravel road to take water taxi to Abel Tasman.
