Domnu Ion was very courteous. We came late after check in time. He was understanding and he opened his doors to us when no one else would. The apartment was neat, tidy, clean, had all amenities you need, and was very much needed after a full day of traveling on the road. Domnu Ion was knowledgeable about everything!

When we checked in, we were very pleasantly surprised because the rooms are brand new and renovated. There are no photos uploaded to Booking yet, but the rooms have a completely renovated interior. The food is of a very high standard and is extremely tasty. The service is of a very high standard and the staff is very kind and courteous.

The property is not an accommodation but a home! You feel like owning the place and the yard. The house is a traditional Romanian house, with a large yard with cherry trees, having outside a nice dog, and a loving cat. The house is situated a bit remote from the city center but in the proximity of traditional restaurants, and old churches. The car can be parked in the yard. The most beautiful monastery of Curtea de Arges is at 5 min of driving. in the world. I strongly recommend this accommodation! It was an amazing experience.

Since we arrived with motorcycles on a hot day, the host gave us refreshments as soon as we stepped in the reception area. It has a safe parking spot for your vehicle. On the ground floor of the facility there is a local shop where you can supply yourself with beverage and food. In some 250 meters, there is a pretty good restaurant.

To be honest, we didn't exactly know what to expect from our stay here. We were looking for a bit of a camping experience. This place was much more luxurious than we expected! The cabin was clean and fresh and modern. The property was a joy to explore and learn about. The restaurant is delicious, and breakfast was varied and...luxurious! This was our homebase for exploring the Transfagarasan. And it was perfect. Eddie, the manager, took us on a tour of the property and the history of the pastravaria. We also loved all the sweet dogs roaming the land. If you stay here, make sure to check out the spa!

Located on the shores of Lake Vidraru in Arefu, Hotel Valea cu Pesti enjoys panoramic views of the lake and the Fagaras Mountains. An indoor swimming pool is also available. No doubt most amazing place in whole Transfagarasan road. On the edge of Vidraru lake triangle. All hotel is very nice and clean, has free spa for people who stay there. Very delicious food in restaurant. Big separate bar at the entrance lobby with tv. Big terrace with amazing view to the lake. Also there is kayak and boats renting place 100 metres down to the lake (just not worked that day for some reason, thats sad).

A good location for a relaxing stay in Căpăţîneni-Ungureni, Pensiunea Dracula & Spa is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.
