Hotell Fängelset Västervik is a converted prison built in the late 1800s and is located right next to Västervik Station. Some of the rooms are refurbished prison cells. Resulta curioso que estuviese reformado sobre una antigua prisión. El desayuno era muy completo.

Housed in an old harbour warehouse, the Home Hotel Packhuset boasts spectacular views of the Kalmar Sound and the Öland Bridge. Some rooms feature exposed wooden beams, timber walls and free WiFi. Our stay included a buffet dinner, which was surprisingly good. Breakfast was good too. Convenient location to see the castle, cathedral, and old town. Room was nice. Elevator was helpful.
