Set in Ko Phayam, a few steps from Ao Khao Kwai North Beach, Baan Suan Kayoo 2 Buffalo Bay Aow Khao Kwai offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared... Perfect location for enjoying nature, especially during the low season when there are almost no other tourists. The restaurant is fully functional which is rare during low season (most places around the island were closed). Great drinks and food. There are hornbills to be seen there throughout the day. The restaurant is on the beach and the bungalows are right behind it, I think they have beachfront bungalows too which were not operational (due to low season?). My bungalow was very comfortable, rustic but clean, I had no issues with bugs and only a couple mosquitos during my stay - very different from another place I stayed that was more inland and there were more mosquitos... I had only cool shower water and a fan, but honestly these were fine for me. The price of the stay also reflects this and in my opinion is a great deal. There is a shop with a variety of cold drinks, snacks and many useful items just down the main road, easy to walk to. I rented a bicycle nearby but for a short stay you could just walk around - there are beaches within walking distance. To see all the rest of the island I would actually recommend a scooter as the bicycle is quite a workout. A highlight of this place were the staff who were so welcoming and lovely. I would stay again.

Situated in Ko Phayam, a few steps from Aow Yai Beach, Lazy Hut features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Free WiFi and room service are available. Perfect location for us. At the quieter end of Aow Yai. We had a basic bungalow but it was very comfortable and clean and great value. We stayed 5 nights and we're sad to leave. The owner is a gentleman, we had problems with transport during songkran which he helped us to figure out, and fixed our dilemma.Food delicious, my favorite, fish with mango salad. Staff are lovely always smiling and willing to help with anything we needed. Thanks Lazy hut, we will be back for sure 😁
