The rooms had a private hot spring. The staff treated you like visiting royalty. Perfect for the lantern festival. What a gem. There was even an art gallery And my friend said the walking trail was nice.

Ample Villa 小希臘民宿 ligt op de heuvel van de Yin Yang Zee, de wijk Ruifang, New Taipei City. Er zijn vijf eengezinsvilla's, twee familievilla's en drie tweepersoonsvilla's. We were travelled all the way from Sun Moon Lake to Ruifang for an opportunity to stay in this wonderful villa, it is by far the best accomodation throughout our time in Taiwan and possibly one of the best in the world. The entire experience is just of surreal quality and very nature oriented. We have stayed in numerous hotels around but definitely nothing of this caliber. Firstly, it is the personal touch from the owner which makes it very special, he is a very hands-on and honest dude providing AUTHENTIC recommendations throughout our stay... and we definitely shared some of our artistic interests with one another as well. Try getting that personal touch in The Ritz, Claridges or even Shintamani... (all you will experience is just a formalistic approach) Secondly, the Villa is located in an almost abandoned hill which used to be a gold-mine hill with very little occupants around that hill and that is absolutely phenomenal... It is like an accomodation in a movie, very idyllic, peaceful and in an almost youtopian state Thirdly, and this comes as a surprise, we didnt know that up the hill it is Jiufen (one of the most popular spots in Taiwan), which is only a 5 minute drive up. Jiufen and Shifen is a must go destination in Taiwan, in fact I am looking to stay in a similar accomodation in Jiufen hopefully in my next visit. There are many other extraordinary experiences in this villa that is just priceless, from dining with complete privacy (just the 2 of us) and a stunning view, to sleeping with the sounds of the nature in an almost abandoned location. It is an accomodation just like a dream, once in a lifetime.

Set in Wanli, an 11-minute walk from Guihou Fishing Port, CT Green Bay Hot-Spring Hotel has a fitness centre and leisure centre. Hotel staff was excellent. Room was clean, comfortable, with an amazing view of the ocean. 2 balconies also! The hot springs were awesome. The buffet was great. Also on site restaurant open unlike the competitor down the road!!

Hotel Intrendy offers accommodation in Taishan, a 5-minute walk from Airport MRT Taishan Gueihe Station and a 10-minute walk from MRT Danfeng Station on Zhonghe-Xinlu Line. Beds were comfy. Shower and tub was an unusual set up but it worked. Staff was super helpful in getting us on our way to the various places we would go by calling cabs and letting the drivers know where we were going. It was really appreciated. It was just a few blocks away from the MRT. Super nice.

Located in Zhonghe, 300 metres from MRT Zhonghe Station, Grace Hotel Zhonghe offer classic and clean guest room in New Taipei City. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Het Inhouse Hotel Yehliu ligt op slechts 3 minuten wandelen van het natuurpark Yehliu en beschikt over comfortabele accommodatie met satelliet-tv en een hot tub. Wow. 😍 Super comfortable beds, super soft pillows!!! Excellent maid service! My only complaint is the refrigerator was not cold enough and had jo controls we could find to turn it to colder. We forgot to ask the maid or front desk and just bought ice across the street at 7 Eleven. We had a partial mountain and ocean view. I can only imagine how beautiful the seaside view is. We visited the world famous GeoPark. We experienced local seafood across the street. The hotel free breakfast is great. Delicious fresh fruit was my favorite. The hotel has two restaurants to enjoy. The pizza dough is made so fresh!!

Great Roots Forestry Spa Resort bevindt zich op een rustige locatie in het midden van de natuur in Xinbei. Het biedt een hot spring, gratis WiFi en elegant ingerichte kamers met gratis mineraalwater. We splashed out and rode here on our last night of a Taiwan bicycle tour before finishing in Taipei; what a regal finish to a fantastic trip! The room was wonderful, hot springs are fabulous, and buffet breakfast was exceptional. If you’re on the fence of splurging a bit, this place is legit.
