Castaway is a lovely set up. It is a short walk into town even closer to the pharmacy and supermarket and petrol station/garage. The owners are super welcoming and have a great property with all you could need. We stayed three nights to enjoy the main attractions of Strahan which is a very interesting town. The small outdoor theatre show of "The ship that never was". in the evenings is a must see. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the town and environs.

This was a lovely stay! The place was clean and cosy and the view was amazing. The attention to detail was lovely and it was great cooking in a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy and there were books and games to enjoy or you could just cosy up near the fire place. This is one of the best places we've stayed in and I would highly recommend it.

Really friendly staff, seemed like everybody knew everybody here. It’s a small town so the location didn’t really matter, but we liked that our room overlooked the river. The food at their restaurant was delicious. The shampoo and soap they provided was such good quality

    Annie was so kind to assist us when we got confused when navigating the exact location of the accommodation! Bonus points to the free chocolates in the fridge xD it was such a cute and welcoming gesture. Surely had a comfortable and lovely stay!

    We loved our stay at Grays Accommodation. It was very clean, it had everything we needed. The leather lounge was so soft & comfortable. Mick & Prue were lovely hosts. I definitely would recommend staying there. Its close the everything.

    I love that due to being a quiet period the lady upgraded our accommodation to a larger building free of charge, it was really nice and definitely made our stay much more enjoyable. Also, the park for the kids was great.

    If there’s a better place to stay in Strahn I would be surprised! Good price, amazing location, very nice accomodation, and the restaurant was lovely with great staff. Laundry facilities after a big hike was a welcome surprise. No notes.

    Beautiful accommodation, this was our favourite place to stay on our holiday travelling around Tasmania. The bed was sooooo comfortable, the room was beautiful and the common kitchen area was very well equipped. The surrounding property had lovely views of the water and we had a fire pit on the first night!! Highly recommend

    Due to a maintenace issue we were moved to another area within the organization prior to our arriving. This enabled us to view older vs newer accommodations. We found between the couples pluses and minuses for both. Unfortunately we also had a severe power outage in both during the stay. All in all the accommodations were good.
