As a business client, I understand that some work is still in progress, and they are unable to provide the full experience they aim for. However, it’s clear that even the staff feels disappointed about welcoming guests under these circumstances. Rarely seen such an aesthetically yet comfortably furnished B&B. I had the 'Zwalwennest' room, a cozy bed and a great view with a window front into the garden and the fields behind it. There is no oversized luxury here, the furnishing is functional - but still super elegant with a lot of flair. Everything very clean. A breakfast to die for! Various fresh fruit, homemade jam, apple juice from the fruit farmer next door, fresh cheese in whole or in slices, sausage, freshly baked rolls and slices of bread while still warm, a bite-sized piece of freshly baked cake, a glass of homemade crunchy yoghurt. You sit in the open dining room kitchen and watch how Ann (the owner) prepares either a fried egg sunny side up or a delicious boiled egg...

We had a wonderful stay in this small townhouse. The house is tastefully renovated and located on a side street to many shopping opportunities. You should only be here with family or very close friends if you hope for a little more privacy regarding the bathroom :-D It is very quiet despite the central location. The marketplace with many restaurants and a pub is not far away on foot. The owner was very friendly and the whole stay was very uncomplicated. Thank you very much !

Very friendly reception staff, free tea and coffee 24 hours, and free drinking water still and sparkling! Trampolines and table tennis outside for kids, and pool table indoors. We stayed overnight in a nice spacious family room 5 beds on the way to UK and will definitely stay again in the future.

Really great place for spending a holiday in this rural area in Belgium. Lots of nature nearby, which can easily be reached using one of the many bikes available at the property free of charge. Lots of games to keep a family busy, including a pool table and table football. The train station is less than 10 minutes walk away, with a direct connection to Brussels and Antwerp, and there's also a spot for parking a car if needed.
